Privacy Policy

This explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive.

Not legal advice, and not yet lawyer-reviewed. This policy was drafted to describe what the site and product actually do. Have a qualified adviser check it against your obligations — particularly GDPR, since HoneyChatting serves creators and agencies in the EU — before treating it as final.

Who we are

HoneyChatting — Creator CRM for fan chat, protection and revenue. For anything in this policy, including access and deletion requests, contact info@honeychatting.com.

What we collect, and why

The free leak check form

The form on this site asks for an email address and your stage names or aliases. We use them for one purpose: to run a search for copies of your content and send you the result. Stage names are necessary because a leak search cannot work without the names your content is published under.

No form service handles it. The form posts to our own server on this domain, which emails it straight to our inbox. There is no third-party form provider, no analytics on the submission, and no intermediary keeping its own copy. The submission is not written to a database — it exists as the email in our inbox and nowhere else.

The one processor involved is our email provider, Google Workspace, which carries and stores that email exactly as it would if you had written to us yourself. That is unavoidable for any email you send us, and it is listed below.

We keep two things in server logs for abuse prevention: the fact that a submission happened, and the connecting IP address for up to 30 days so we can rate-limit spam. The email address and stage names you type are never written to our logs — only to the email itself. You can equally write to info@honeychatting.com directly; it reaches the same inbox.

If you become a customer

To operate the product we hold the account and billing details you give us, and — where you choose to connect a creator platform — the credentials or session needed to work your inbox on your behalf, plus the fan conversations and transaction records that flow through it.

Two commitments about that data:

This website

The marketing site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no analytics or social pixels. Fonts, logos and scripts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party CDN. Our web server keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent — which are used for security and debugging only.

Who else sees your data

Only the parties we need to run the service:

| Who | What they receive | Why | |---|---|---| | Google Workspace | Email we send and receive, including form submissions | Our email provider | | Our hosting provider | Site traffic, server logs | Runs the servers | | Payment processor | Billing details, for customers | Takes payment | | Creator platforms you connect | Only what is needed to act on your account | Operating your inbox at your instruction |

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or export it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Email info@honeychatting.com and we will act on it. There is no form to fill in and no fee.

A note specific to this industry

Our customers are adult creators, and we know that a privacy failure here is not an inconvenience — it can mean being outed, harassed or losing income. That is why the marketing site carries no trackers, why stage names are used only for the search you asked for, and why access to customer data is restricted to the people doing the work.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, for customers, tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
